ANDRA TAN RUI EN

Week 6: Creative Writing on Thursday, 2nd of August

Dear Pupils,

You have been taught on how to write at least 5 sentences of a given topic. There should be 3 parts (Beginning, Body, Ending) in a story.

Do remember, you should start with a beginning (talk about the weather, people or place) then write the body (content of the story what it is all about, what happened in the story, name the characters involved) and the ending (is there a moral? What you can learned from the story or how will your the story end (sad, happy)?)

Do write more stories of any topic over the weekends. All the best for next week!

Regards

Show & Tell Part 1

During PAL...

Thank you parents and guardians for helping and encouraging your child / ward to eat fruit during PAL days. Pupils, I hope you can continue this on every Wednesday and Thursday for the right reason, that is to eat fruit not because of the value in getting a token but to eat fruit because it is a healthier snack.

Reply Form and Math Matters

Dear 1G,

Thank you for being very prompt this time in handing in the reply form for the P1 English, Mathematics and Mother Tongue Holistic Assessment for Term 3.

Just a gentle reminder that there will be a Math Topical Test 5 (15% weightage) tomorrow.

All pupils have sat for the Math Performance Task 4 as a form of practical and it is not graded.

Do a last round of revision today with your parents for the following topics:
Length, Mass, Picture Graphs and Heuristics Book [Skill Set 1 (Analysing Parts & Whole) and Skill Set 4 (Draw a Diagram)].

All the best!
